Emily Sikorski of alburgh participates in Saint Michael's College Chorale and Chamber Singers concert tour

Emily Sikorski, daughter of Karen Sikorski of Alburgh of alburgh, is one of 28 singers of the Saint Michael's College Chorale and Chamber Singers who will perform in concerts in Rutland, Vt., South Glens Falls, N.Y., and Manchester, Vt., March 4, 5, and 6.

Sikorski, a first-year student English major, attended Winooski High School before coming to Saint Michael's in Burlington, Vt., one of the top 10 college towns in America.

The Chorale and Chamber singers are directed by Nathaniel G. Lew, SMC associate professor of music and associate director of the a capella musical group, Counterpoint. Pianist Annemieke Spoelstra, who was a finalist in Paris at the international Nadia and Lili Boulanger competition in 2001 accompanies the Chorale. The SMC Chorale performs sacred works both old and new in Latin, German, and English, along with sentimental and humorous songs.

Friday, March 4, 7:30 p.m.

Grace Church, 8 Court St, Rutland, Vt.

Joint concert by the Saint Michael's College Chorale, the Castleton State College Chamber Singers, and the University of Massachusetts Chamber Choir. The program will include French Canadian folksongs, Vermont songs, college songs, sacred music and an English madrigal. Free admission with donations accepted to benefit Crop Walk

Saturday March 5, 4:00 p.m.

Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 80 Saratoga Ave, South Glens Fall, N.Y.

Mass with music by the Saint Michael's College Chorale and Chamber Singers.
