Saint Michael's College student, Katelyn Whitman, daughter of Michelle and Peter Whitman of Meriden, is studying abroad for the fall 2012 semester. Whitman, a junior theater and history double major, is studying at Advanced Studies in England in Bath, England. Whitman graduated from Gateway Community College before coming to Saint Michael's.

More than a third of Saint Michael's students take advantage of the opportunity to spend a semester, academic year or summer abroad. The college offers programs in five categories: language programs, university liberal studies courses, international service programs, internship programs and field study programs.
